Urugbo Church of Uganda Pajulu Parish Crusade 2025
Turn to the Lord
From 15th to 19th January 2025, the community of Urugbo, Pajulu Parish, witnessed a powerful move of God during a 5-day crusade hosted at the Church of Uganda grounds. With the theme, “Turn to the Lord” (Zechariah 1:1-3), the meetings were marked by heartfelt worship, fervent prayer, and the uncompromising preaching of the Gospel.
Thousands Gathered in Expectation
An estimated 6,000 - 8,000 people attended across the five days. Men, women, and youth came in large numbers, eager to experience the presence of God and receive His Word. The atmosphere was filled with faith and anticipation, and God did not disappoint.
A Harvest of 2,500 Souls
Through street evangelism, door-to-door ministry, open-air preaching, and the crusade gatherings, the Lord graciously drew people to Himself. By the end of the crusade, about 2,500 souls had surrendered their lives to Christ. This was not just a statistic but a testimony of lives transformed, families restored, and destinies redirected toward God’s kingdom.
The Call to Return
The theme scripture, Zechariah 1:1-3, was a prophetic call to the people:
“Return to me, declares the Lord Almighty, and I will return to you.”
This message resonated deeply throughout the crusade. Many were convicted to forsake sin, reconcile with God, and embrace His mercy. It was a reminder that no matter how far one has wandered, God’s arms remain open.
Lasting Community Impact
The crusade not only impacted individuals but also strengthened the church and the wider Pajulu community. Believers were revived, and backsliders returned to fellowship. Local churches were energized with new converts, creating a fresh wave of revival that will continue to bear fruit.
